The Web development process includes Web design, Web content development, client-side/server-side scripting and network security configuration, among other tasks. Software engineers at the federal level support a wide variety of application tools such as Coldfusion, Node.js, PHP, Dot Net, Python and a host of other.

Federal Government Policy

The Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) is United States legislation that defines a comprehensive framework to protect government information, operations and assets against natural or man-made threats. FISMA was signed into law part of the Electronic Government Act of 2002.

Program Management

Program Managers are tasked with managing contracts, personnel and in some cases wear a dual technical hat that involve systems. PMs are critical to the success of a re-complete effort that involve strategic relationships with client officials.

Critical to the success of any federal contract, the Business Development officer will assemble a war room and provide the necessary leadership, vision and focus to the successful completion of a winning contract award.

I started Federal Software Engineers and Data Scientist (FSEDS) in 2015. I saw the critical need for members of the Information Technology sector to have a voice that would provide a platform for engagement with the public sector. Technology is constently advancing and FSEDS goal is to become a public resource for research & development.

Conferences and Seminars are essential to networking in the DC Metro area. FSEDS seeks to conduct a conference or seminar on a monthly basis with partnered organizations that share similar goals and interests. Get Published

FSEDS is building coalitions with online publishing organizations that are Software Engineering and Data focused. On November 9, 2016, we published our first article with the Dataversity.net online group.
